Rocky Mountain VHF+
at HamCon Colorado 2009
The Rocky Mountain VHF+ held very well attended open meeting at the Hamcon Colorado Rocky Mountain Division ARRL Convention on May 29, 2009. Our Emcee was Ken Anderson WØETT and our program consisted of presentations on Propagation on Six meters and up by Bill McCaa KØRZ and the WØKVA Contest group presented by John Maxwell NØWBW. In addition to these presentations the Rocky Mountain VHF+ Net Control Operators awarded Wayne Heinen NØPOH a plaque commemorating his 15+ years of service to RMVHF+ and a plaque to Dave Clingerman W6OAL for his outstanding support of Rocky Mountain VHF+ through his work with the Beacons and his writings for our web site. KØRZ was also honored with a framed Worked All Colorado Certificate for his accomplishment of working all 16 grids in Colorado on 10 GHz. Phil Lee W6HCC was also awarded an Activated All Colorado Certificate for Activating all 16 grids in Colorado on 10 GHz. Both very outstanding accomplishments. Rocky Mountain VHF+ wishes to thank Ken WØETT for organizing the get together, as well as Bill KØRZ and John NØWBW for their fine presentations.
