Hi all
The Central States VHF Society is pleased to announce that its Annual Conference for 2015 will be held in the Denver Colorado Metro area. We are currently working to deliver an exceptional lineup of technical programs with presenters from across the country. Technical proceedings will be published and made available at the conference. Anyone wishing to submit a paper, or propose a technical session topic, should contact the Conference Vice President John Maxwell, W0VG. johnm@johnmaxwell.net
As with all conferences, we will also offer the traditional social activities; noise figure measurement, antenna range, Rover vehicle show and tell, luncheons and a banquet.
The local host for 2015 will be Rocky Mountain Ham Radio. The organizing team is working to bring a “Colorado Flare” to the event. We are considering a number of social activities that build relationships between Colorado locals and visiting CSVHFS members. Operating events from local mountain top locations are being considered. Stay tuned.
We will continue to offer the VHF101 program for those looking to get started with VHF and UHF weak signal operation. These sessions will be promoted locally and designed to encourage newer hams to get involved in weak signal operation on the VHF+ bands.
At this time planning is underway for a suitable venue with all the amenities that CSVHF conference attendees are accustomed to enjoying. Firm dates and facility location will be announced as soon as they are secured.
Anyone desiring additional information may contact Doug Sharp, K2AD ( doug@dougsharp.com ) or Wayne Heinen, N0POH ( n0poh@wayneheinen.com )
We hope to see you in Denver in 2015!
